I am having trouble saving individually downloaded songs...I have never experienced this prior to about a week ago...I have mac os x and when i DL an individual song it opens up quicktime, downloads and then plays the song as it always has...no problen...however whenever i save the song and then try to import into itunes...it turns out to be a 12k file!??? so it plays 2 seconds of the song and that's it! Help!!! Thank you..Jon

If you're asking about Smooth Money Gesture songs (which the parent is about), I don't think they've even made it into the public area yet?

Try clicking on the Save as Source option, hold the mouse button down on the little arrow on the bottom right of the window to get the options. Assuming you have Quicktime Pro and are downloading while in Safari. I was having similar trouble a little while ago and this worked. I save (as source) to the desktop and open with iTunes.

Thanks for the quick response...I believe this starting ocurring after i downloaded the QT(7)update a few weeks ago...I do not have pro...and I don't seem to have the option to do what you suggest...Interesting that upgrading landed me in this position...I guess it's a way for apple to sell QT pro!?

I couldn't download anything till I got QT Pro. It was worth it. There's a lot of stuff left off the free player, you can listen, but you can't save anything. I believe you only pay once for the Pro, I've upgraded twice since I got it. When you are in Safari and you click on an individual song, the next window that comes up with the Quicktime, look in the far right corner for a tiny little arrow, facing downward, hold the mouse button down and a list of options will come up. Since you don't have Pro the options will be gray. Once you get Pro they will be black and you can use them, and you can DL video too.

Just a followup regarding individual files...After buying QT Pro I could save the files...and they will play and import to itunes...however the EQ is rendered useless on these saved "video" files...So I was informed that if you CTRL click and select the download linked file option..voila! saved to desktop as an Mp3 and recognized by the EQ in ITunes!
